Extraction is also the most common method for extracting juice from raw materials of fruits. It applies to fruit with low water content, such as wild jujube, dark plum and red dates. With more pectin content, these fruits are hard to extract juice by squeeze. So it mainly uses extraction method.

What factors can affect the extraction of fruits?

The main factors affecting the extraction effect are the amount of water added, temperature, time and the degree of fruit crushing. Taking the date palm as an example, the fruit and water ratio during extraction is 1:2, the extraction temperature is 60-80℃. Then the extraction time is 1.5-2 hours for one time and the total time for multiple extractions is 6-8 hours.

For this, the extraction process is carried out in a extracting tank after the fruit mash is mixed with hot water. Then start stirring to let the soluble sugar flow out. After crushing the fruit, the chance of fruit pulp contact with water increases, which is beneficial to the extraction of soluble solids. Therefore, it is necessary to use a crusher to properly crush the fruit before the extraction.

How does fruit extraction machine work to extract fruit?

When you select and wash the fruit, it is put into the top of the machine. There are two rolls at the bottom of the hopper, relatively rolling to send the fruits to the half knife. Then the knife cuts the fruit into half, and the pulp and fruit peel are separated by the scraper. So the sieve plate can extract the fruit out about 36% juice. After that, the juice flows to the pulping machine to be extracted again and the fruit peel is discharged to the door of the machine by the conveyor.
